searching for a shift lever for the BRC 40

Hi to all,

I´m searching for a shift lever for the transmission of a BRC 40. Can anyone help???

There were two versions..one straight as you show in the photo...and the other, rarer, is curved. Both were used on the civilian cars (as was the steering wheel, speedometer and some other parts). I forget which series BRC's get which sticks but the best bet would be to try the Austin Bantam Society where the right design information can be had, and members often have parts stashes: someone may have one. You could start at BRC1940.com or the ABS site...maybe you could put an add in the "Roostertails".
