Holley 847D parts list etc
Can some one point me in the right direction for the Holley parts list and diagram for the Holley 847D carburettor. I have the Ford master parts catalogue with the Ford part numbers and diagram, but I am after the Holley part numbers and diagrams

Check with Macs Auto, they have parts for the Holley 847, a civilian model, but very close to the military model in many aspects.

Do you need this info just for your own interest or are you looking to make a rebuild kit for your carburetor? It is possible Brad Gates or other GP parts guys may have a rebuild kit already made up for you to use.

I have some 847d's to rebuild but one of them is missing the choke butterfly, spindle, return spring and some linkage.
I need to know how much crosses over from other single downdraft 847's

I would think the choke butterfly would be specific to the GP since the other 847 family of carbs were used on Ford 6 cylinders and the air horn bore would be bigger then that used on the GP. Just a wild suggestion but the Crosley carb the WO unit may have the correct or close to correct size butterfly to retrofit your carb with. The Crosley WO carb works nice on a GP since it is not as tall as the Willys WO and the Crosley 110 cubic inch displacement is closer to the GP displacement of 119 versus the Willys at 134 c i.

The choke plate is 40.1mm or 1.58" across the flat edgesgpwmke wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 9:31 amI would think the choke butterfly would be specific to the GP since the other 847 family of carbs were used on Ford 6 cylinders and the air horn bore would be bigger then that used on the GP.
