Another GP pops up
The newest addition to the GP family has popped up in of all places.....Wisconsin! Big surprise, right?! It was picked up from a salvage yard near Wisconsin Rapids in a row full of Ford Rangers by an enterprising 18 year old. Looks to be an incredible start for a young jeeper.

The guy it was sold to was the friend of the young man who helped him with a Comanche he restored. This is the new owners second GP so I'd say there is a good chance he at least lurks on the boards.

The new owner's name is Chris Niedbalski of Wisconsin Rapids. I think he plans to make one out of the two he owns so there might be some leftovers.

Nice to see another GP surface. I think they grow wild here in Wisconsin.

Re: Another GP pops up
Anytime anyone would like to share the knowledge of where/who/how these things come about, I do keep the list in the Prototype section here on the Gee of known GP's. I haven't made any entries for a while but would be happy to do so. GP LIST ENTRY FORM
My G503 GP list is posted at the top of the BRC MA GP Prototypes forum for all to see. Actually, I have a number of photos of GP's where there is little or no info on and I also have GP's with names attached to them but no serial information. So it is really something that could use some help and in turn will help us all by adding these finds to a *centralized list.
You can also see many of the GP's on that list here. There is a link within the page to switch back and forth between the two series of GP's: GP PHOTO PAGES
*Some folks don't like lists or having folks know their business. I get that, but in response, it isn't a government ploy or a "need to know" it is a sharing of the hobby. As most of us can see, many of these jeeps ended up in Wisconsin. Why? Who had them? How many are left? All are questions that are answered by the numbers. Thanks to all who have been sharing. Oh...and lastly, do us all a favor and go into your profile and add what City, State , Country, hemisphere or Galaxy you reside. It sure helps when figuring where things are located for sale, shipping or for just general contacts.

Re: Another GP pops up
Hi David,
I own GP 9671, and it is correctly listed on your site, and in the series 1 list. However, there is a 2nd series listed with SN 15187. These are the same GP, and the correct SN is the first (GP 9671). When I bought the GP the title incorrectly stated the latter SN. I don't mean to hijack this thread, but your contact link was not working.
Thanks!
Chris

I believe that the corrections were made on my yet to be but un-published list that resides on my computer. I have no record of that 2nd series other number on that list.
Thanks
