Bantam vs. Willys Race

All,

I tried to put this in as a live link but couldn't make it work. I will post this on the MB GPW page as well.

Just copy and paste the link into your browser and play. Feel free to share with anyone anywhere. We'd love to hear your comments here on the G.

This is a fun video not a technical deep dive. Both jeeps performed brilliantly and as expected if they were new.

This race is the result of conversations between Duncan Rolls and I and inspired by his restoration work on his 19th Bantam (OMG!) and my 3 MB's.

Regarding the race at the end, this video was filmed by a guy wearing a Bantam Car Club T shirt! He had full editorial control.

As a Willys guy, all I will say is when the booby prize is trailer contracts you have to grab all the glory you can. At the end of the day they are all jeeps and are the source of our individual and collective happiness.

Thanks to Duncan for my jeeps and making this possible.

Enjoy,
Peter
