I'm Reaching out looking for a rear drive shaft right side. apparently mine had been welded years ago and broke again. Passenger side rear, anyone have something for me please.
I have reached out to driveline specialst to repair mine, they say no

If you get in a bind I think you can use an MB/GPW axle shaft with a small spacer where the bolt circle is. I saw this on a GP I bought years ago. The axles are reverse of an MB/GPW but you may be able to get by with this fix till A GP axle comes along.

i did try the GPW shaft, left is the right and so on. thought i had it made but the long side is still 1 3/4" - 2" to long. don't know why.
i did contact a drive train company, he said any welding on a cast shaft would just break again next to the weld.

Is there a broken piece of the old shaft in the differential side gear? You want a axle shaft, not a drive shaft, correct. Can you not hog out the old axle shaft from the flange and weld in a new axle shaft?
