Are there different backing plates for the 1st and 2nd series GPs? I found these on both the front and rear axles on a 1st series frame. If not GP, has anyone seen others like them? The have a more rounded profile than what I've seen in in the past.

Hi all,

IT looks like an M38 or M38A1 backing plate. Probably replaced in an attempt to "upgrade" the brakes.

GP backing plates are same as MB/GPW
