GP inner windshield

Are there any differences between a GP and a GPW inner windshield?
Does anyone have some good pics of a GP windshield?

I'm curious about this also. I've slipped a MB/GPW inner frame into my GP outer and it fits but I want to say the hinge is a tad longer on each end. I'm just making this assumption on pictures I've seen as I don't have a GP inner to compare.

If it helps these are all drawings related to the Ford GP windshield, that were published on THF.

Here's a pic I threw together highlighting the obvious differences. ( I flipped the GPW picture to match perspectives) I think one could use a G503 inner frame but just remove the outer inch of the hinge area.... weld, cleanup and done.

Are we looking at an inch in from the edge of the inner windshield?
Is that a guesstimate or is that measured.

Just to make things confusing. I noticed this windshield on an early slat grill i recently rescued? Thoughts?

The rest of it looks like a typical MB style, Not like the GP.
