Restoring GP #15116

Hi all,
I'm in the process of restoring GP #15116. The data plates are missing and I'm getting ready to order a repro set. Would it be safe assuming the DOD is 9/24/41?

Hi nwarcade,
Congratulations on owning GP15116! I own GP15581and did quite a bit of research into the possible date of delivery and found it most likely to be Oct 7, 1941. I have told Dave who does a great job with the GP list but it still hasn't been updated and still reads 11/8/41 which I believe is too late. So please refer to GP15581 as having a DOD of 10/7/41. Please also keep us up to date with your progress.

Hi Olav,
Thank you for the updated DOD of your GP. To add another example I'm also restoring #14871. I just cleaned up the data plate and it has a DOD of 9-22-41. Looking at Dave's list I'm thinking my proposed date is right on the money.

Hi guys, you've probably seen it in the list, but my GP is 16601 with a date of 11-11-41, original dataplates, but no hood number found.

Folks,

I have GP 15378 fully restored with original tub, chassis and original data plates; matching engine and chassis numbers. DOD is 9.26.41

Interesting John, I own 15270 with orginal plates. delivery september 29th.

Very close but perhaps assembled later then yours despite the earlier frame#.

On the list I have been keeping on and off through the years, i show GP 15133 with a dod of 9/2/41. There is also GP 15141 dod 9/23/41.
GP 15105 dod 9/16/41, GP 15018 9/23/41.

Hey Olav,
On my list it shows GP 15581 with a dod of 11/13/41. I dont know if this is real or not. It certainly is quite late. There are two others with a dod of 11/3/41. Fwiw.
