GP8920 is pretty much completed barring solving a charging issue, and rough-running in the engine. Completed the brake bleed and adjustment this morning, and did several touch-up jobs on the paintwork. Went for a short drive up and down our street, and was delighted with the very light and easy steering.
GP8920 is not a concourse standard by any means, but is what my limited abilities and budget could achieve. It was, overall, an enjoyable experience tracking down parts and seeing it all come together. Thanks to Dean Harvey (Joes Motor Pool) many repro parts became available during the course of the project, others I had manufactured locally, and the wizard hands of Lindsay Clark in Indiana turned very ordinary body parts back into first-rate GP parts. My wife's steady artist's hands did a great job on the speedo/instrument cluster restoration, and Dick Flynn (Flynn Engineering) did a nice job on preparing the engine for assembly. Topped it all off with a set of Dan's canvas and straps from Beachwood Canvas.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the positive comments.
Look forward to catching up with the GP Fraternity again now that the Covid-silliness is on the decline. In the meantime, I've transitioned to a 1942 Ford GPW project ...
