Hi David,

You have created a great page - well done!

Just to let you know I now have 9251 and am in the UK.

Currently it is in pieces so that all components which are there can be restored/repaired.

When I get a rolling chassis back together, I will send you photos.

If you have any history on it (ie previous owners and locations) that would be really appreciated.

Thanks for your help

Cheers

Clive

Hey all,

Just updating the list after one year of neglect. I have had a bunch of updates from folks but some may or may not have been added to this list. The best way to get the information to me is via my GP List update form.

Form is located at: DAVES GP LIST FORM

or

Just PM me and I will send you the above link and then you can fill the form out and I will add the info to the list.

It is almost like a job because I am not a web guy and so it takes a while to set the online list up. That is why I don't update that often. I do however keep the information sent to me on a spreadsheet and use it to create the next list.

Anyhow, to those who have shared info, thanks! And to the rest of you in the MilVeh world, please consider sharing any info on GP's you have seen or heard of. Someday we might get the true number of GP's that still are out there. Oh yeah...and send photos. I really want to show how these GP's have been sitting and how they get restored. That is the best part. So take photos and send this stuff to me and I will do my best to keep us all up to date on the GP's of the world.

Oh yeah and check out my website. Dave's webpage

Again thanks and Keep 'em Rolling!
:)

P.S. One other thing...if you are on the Gee, why not put the place where you reside? There ain't no boogey men gonna get you and it helps us all know a little more about who you are. It bugs me to see someone wanting to buy, sell or trade an item and then you find out that they are in Africa or Antartica and want to ship overnight.

Hi David,

GP 9322
GP 8788
Thanks Rory, You have been one of the great contributors to this effort by me to figure out how many GP's are still out there. We are coming up on #400 on the list. Albeit, some are just parts i.e.: frame, data plate or an engine but I record that in my home version of the list. So all in all, the list is a success and I will try to keep it going as long as there are GP's to be found.

I have about 15 or so that are un-verified GP's that I have had word of mouth or came across an image of one. I may start the process of trying to ID these in the future. They are now in the limbo file.

Again, thanks...

Hi David,

What is the highest possible chassis number for a Ford GP please? Series 1s started at 8500, and there were some 4,500 manufactured, so where did the chassis numbers end?

Thanks

Finally updated the list again. JAN 2021 LIST

Having fun with Excel dates copy and paste. They change by 4 years when you do that move. There is a fix and I finally found it. :o

Nice work Dave!!!

I acquired GP 14351 last year. It is missing the dash data plate though, but the engine and frame serial numbers match. Can you please add this one to your list? Located in PA.

What would be the best way to determine the actual build date so that I can have a new data plate created?

Thank you,
Mike
