OCT 2019 LIST

SUBMIT NEW INFO HERE

DRIVES/STOPS SURVEY

As an aside, I am trying to update the list with photos and per request of some folks, to add a column that says whether a GP drives and stops. Thats it. So if you have a GP on the list and I don't have the "Drives / Stops" correct, please go to that survey.

Note: Anything in red text on the list indicated that I either need the info or if it is struck out with a horizontal line, it means that the GP was destroyed or is totally un-salvageable. Anything in YELLOWmeans that I have un-verified info but have been told that this is the last known status just not totally verified.

Check out the GP Photo Gallery (on my website). It is a compilation of all the GP's that I could find either on the web or personally with additional help from fellow owners and Jeep collectors sharing their finds.

Thanks to all who have shared their photos as well as Ron Fitzpatrick for creating this venue that allows us to share our finds and knowledge in one centralized place. :)

D

Footnote 9/4/19:I was happy to receive a new GP via the latest input form but the thing was incomplete so I ccouldn't include it. I think it was a joke because they had a name associated with some sort of cooking in the UK. Then the email address was incomplete. So if someone wants to enter legitimate info, feel free to do that but if you try to input some false or incomplete info, I'm not going to include it in the listings. Too bad because it did look sort of legit and it would have added one more to the list. :?

David Well done, it was great to see your new photo page this morning and which I am sure will be of great interest to current and future owners as well as other enthusiasts. It was also great to see that my GP also features, “looking forward to receiving those photo copyright payments” !!!!
Keep up the great work which is very much appreciated over this side of the pond.

Hi David
Just checking through revised build dates for the GP, I note that another Pygmy was built in 44 with a third Series of GPs constructed around 1945 ? if this is the case they are not as rear as first thought.

Cheers Richard (from across the pond)

Richard, What the HECK? I don't know what happened. My EXCEL changed all the dates when I made the new list. How I missed that I don't know but I will fix it. GP's in 44-5? Pulling down the list to fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

Today I added and updated a few more GP's to the list thanks to contributors. I also found some before unknowns to me on my recent Normandy trip.

Dont' forget to look at the photos. I am always ready to change to or add any photos folks might want to put up.

thanks...Keep sending me that info.

Guys- shouldn't the dates of delivery be changed to 1941. I note that you were informed in 2014 and would change it, but they still read 1945. Also, I now own # 9455 and # my old # 8853. I'll send pictures soon. Thanks

John,

Sorry. That darn Excel for some reason does this stuff. I don't know why but I will try to correct it asap. How I missed it, I don't know. The real list shows all '41 dates but the conversion to HTML somehow has changed it. :? So in the famous words of Richard Nixon, "I am not a GEEK!" :)

Hey David

I thought I changed it but guess not, GP 9547 is now in Washington, has been since 2013 and the motor is 8597 and has a service reconditioning tag on it dated 12/43. Great site.

Thanks
