Hi Guys,
My A1 came with a lockable button latch on the glove box, but no key. A good yank gets the door opened, but I want it functional. It appears new, but I don't see any number stamped on it to identify what key it used. So I'd like to take it apart and remove the tumbler so I can still us it (until I pony up for another one with a key).
I don't see an easy way to disassemble......but it must come apart. Anybody done this before?
thanks,
bob
How to remove glove box latch lock?

Please disregard........I found the key in the glovebox. It had slid up against the dash panel inside the glove box. It'said an H700 key.
Thanks,
Bob
Thanks,
Bob
