Hi,
further to Bens tip about the ball and weight.

Many folks just remove the carb top to clean out and re-kit the carb. In doing so often rack the throttle open and then shut again. This can dislodge the ball and weight which quite happily find their way into the intake manifold and ultimately into one cylinder or another with potentially disastrous results.
Always best to completely remove the carb so you can systematically dismantle and lay out on the bench :wink: :wink:
