53' M38A1 24v dash gauges on 12v system?

Post by LukeM38A1 » Mon May 27, 2013 9:59 pm

Im new to the forums so sorry if I sound new haha. I got a 53' m38a1 this year the previous owner converted it over too 12v. I am looking to buy a whole New plate where the gauges/dash lights go, but don't know if there is any way of converting the voltage to work with 12v instead of over hauling the whole jeep electrical system. Thanks.

The Ammeter will work on 12Volts, but the other 24V gauges will not.
