I just installed a disc brake mod on 1950 CJ2.
I installed the master cylinder the same place as the old one. The steering arm will hit the master cylinder on one turn direction.
Has anyone completed this modification and run into this problem?
If so how did you fix?

Re: Disc brake master cylinder
Try putting this in a location with lots of jeep modifying folks, maybe the modifying section, or maybe the cj2a page.

Re: Disc brake master cylinder
There’s no such thing as a 1950 CJ2. Or a 1950 CJ2-A either.
I have installed a dual-chamber master cylinder on an M38, but I didn’t have any problem with the steering linkage hitting it.

Re: Disc brake master cylinder
Your correct on the No such thing! It is a 1952 Willys M38.
I finally saw a u tube Video that helped.
So, the Disk Brake modification requires you to remove the plate on the inside of where the old disk brake reservoir was mounted too.
The installation instructions are in need of some added instruction.
