Jeep Cj2, Cj3 Brown Lipe spicer transfer case & 4 speed
Hi guys, I just picked up an interesting combo. The tranny is a 1966 Ford Fairlane HEH BV 4 speed, married up to a CJ2 or CJ3 Brown Lipe, Spicer transfer case. Anyone ever run across this combo? I am a rookie in CJ drive train know how. What is the time frame for the Brown Lipe transfer case?

Why does the adapter plate look so thick in the first pic and so thin in the last?
Is it true real Jeeps have flat fenders?

What looks like the adapter in the first picture is actually the shifter handle.
