Re: Soft door
Matt,
There are several different kinds illustrated on the CJ2A Forum. Use their advanced search and look for, "half doors" to see several.
I personally like this version the best as it uses factory hinges vs. attaching other brackets/other attachment points.

Not sure how important the arm rest angle is as that may be up to personal preference.

Re: Soft door
I once did a set for a friend:
... the inside has a pocket:
... he bolted the curtain to the tub on the bottom and used turn buttons in front to open the curtain.
If you look at the third picture, you can see that the inside has a flap that drapes over the tub edge. I have found that if you make that flap 5 or 6 inches long, it will hold the bottom of the curtain up against the edge of the tub in most situations and you don't even need fasteners on the bottom.

Re: Soft door
I always did like the military curtains. Really thought about putting some on the 2a. But ive been able to get into a best top tiger top(for spring and summer) With doors. And also a steel hardtop (winter use). I think im going to try to find the marine black vynil and make a bikini top and some half doors for it. Same type steel rod for structural support. I think its going to be a fun project. Just need it to get above 5°. No heat in the garage. Thank you for your help.
