CJ5 With a Pinto Engine

Post by gglazar » Thu Mar 24, 2011 6:43 am

Anyone have any experience with this setup? I currently have a 2.0 liter Pinto engine in my CJ5 (bought it that way) I have the option of purchasing a 2.3 liter Turbo Charged Pinto engine running for $150.00.
Does anyone know if all of the engine mounts are the same? the bell housing bolt pattern the same? Are there any major issues with the swap other than the oil filter?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty certain the bell and mounts are the same... check out the Novak conversions site for a definite answer on it..
