Yes that is the correct SW temp gauge.
I got over 68 ww2 gauges and I trying to post a picture it won't let me. I am also looking for a diamond T SW 30/30 amp gauge I spend 7 years trying to find one and I am still looking for one Please email me if You know someone got one.
Nirvana one of your gearshift is a bit longer than my ford jeep has. and I also have the same fuel tank on my willys jeep
I had a stamp on the bottom of the tank saying 31/12/41 very rare.
Cheers Peter

On this topic there is a link that Nirvana references which apparently is no longer available. It is half way down page one just under the contract list.

Is there any way of resurrectiong this referred to post. It would be nice to see it to help with researsch. I have GPW 70239 which I believe is also one of the 653 Navy jeeps.

I have GPW 20151 DOD 4-20-42, it has what appears to be USMC green over OD green and the faintest outline of USMC on bumperette in yellow.
We found no hood numbers or stars anywhere and only TP35 on the dash.
The Darker green is not on the inside of the bonnet or on the inner wings, just all over the bulkhead and above the tool lockers.
Toolbox lids are OD underneath top paint is long gone.
There are no signs of any hooks or rings and the front horns are original.
I'm thinking this one could be part of the 653, does anyone know what date that order was filled and would there be any clues as to USMC jeep I'm not seeing?
This one has also had a 1945 MB block fitted.

That seems way out of the serial number range to be in the navy block. Like, 50,000 apart. Probably something else.
