HELP WANTED: The Yankee Air Museum needs talented and dedicated volunteers for its PB4Y-2 Privateer restoration project. The PB4Y-2 is a derivative of the B-24 Liberator and as such is a key part of the Museum’s aircraft collection.
This restoration project requires people that are good with their hands, pay close attention to detail, and a willingness to follow directions. The Privateer is housed in the historic Willow Run Bomber Plant – so you will be doing your part to help preserve Southeast Michigan’s aviation history. The crew works on Saturdays only, and no aviation experience is required.
If you join the team, you’ll find a group of fellow volunteers that are dedicated to aviation history – and a great group of people to work with and accomplish important work for the Museum.
Please contact Tom Carroll at volunteers@yankeeairmuseum.org for more information about this opportunity.
