FIRST WWII B-29 MISSIONS

Post by Joe Gopan » Fri Jun 15, 2018 7:50 am

Today is the 74th anniversary of the first B-29 Missions during WWII. China based B-29's dropped their first bombs on the Japanese. My Room Mate, SGT Rudder, at APG Ordnance School took part in that mission he was a Gunner. The Chinese awarded a decoration to AAF crews for that mission. it looked like a sun flower.
