As they say, any landing you can walk away from is a good one...This is my favorite WWII landing of all time and I'd like to think all the crew survived from THIS one but hopefully they all bailed out as this was a pretty abrupt landing and all crew forward of the wings would have been killed!

Unfortunately 6 of the 10 crew members were killed in that take-off crash.
The U.S. National Archives provides a description for this photo:
Crashed on take off from San Giovanni Field,Italy on April 12,1945 killing 6 of the crew.
B-24M-5-FO Liberator - s/n [serial number] 44-50468 - 740th Bomb Squadron, 455th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force.
