T-38 propeller

Post by Frank USMC » Sun Sep 17, 2023 2:00 pm

I have two T38 propellers ....two props?
Here is my stupid quistions
Should I repaint them? one has very little paint remaining on it.
Do they have any collector value?...I was going to put them next to a window, but if collectors want them,...

Are they serviceable with documented history? If so they may have value to someone trying to keep a plane in the air. They're not T-38 propellers :) T-38 is a Northrup turbojet.

Frank:
Suggest you look at prices on this page.

Like you I've picked up a black single blade prop that was brought back from a bar in some base in Vietnam. Bar name markings are barely visible anymore and it would likely be best suited on a plane, but it has history worth saving to me. Few years ago I tracked down some units history, but as they have no more than a web page, it's just a collectible, if it could only talk.
