Piper Cub seat?
I got this seat with an M170 I recently purchased and do not recognize it.Any information on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Looks like a front seat from a Cub or L-4. Would have to look at the drawings and check a couple of items to be sure.

Chuck: I don't have copies of the L-4/J-3 drawings. I've got a set of Wag Aero copies of a direct copy of the J-3 though. It will be a bit before I can get to them though.

I have a Wag Aero Sport Trainer. Called a Cuby at the time, 1983, my father and I built it from a set of plans. Including the seat.
That is the base, but we changed the shape of the top of the seat back a little.
