Scout Car door catch needed
Are the angled strip of metal that is sandwiched in between the armor and the upright behind the seat available somewhere? It is what the door latches catches to stay closed... Are they reproduced and by whom?

Can't say I have seen them being made by any particular person or shop. Simple to make, done several for myself. I will dig thru my patterns and get you the info. Since the plate is about a foot and a half long (just guessing from memory) I had a local metal shop make the slight bend. I did not have a press brake wide enough to make the bend. Will look tonight after work.

Well, I did not have it at my house, looks like I left it at the metal shop for them to scan into their computer. I will go by and have them print me off a draft copy, since it is mine anyway. Might be a couple days, getting ready to head west and pick up a couple Weasels.
