Hello,
Welcome to the G 503 .
You can list it in the Armored section on this forum.
Just post a price and some pics, many here would be interested in it.
Also post your location, as that helps to know where it is located.
Good luck,
Ray

Join the facebook group "White M3A1 Scout car appreciation group" More than a thousand members. Far more exposure.
The group can help you with evaluation too. The skate rail is probably the single biggest value piece on a S/C. If you can find one a repro can run 7500 dollars. That, the lack of trollies and the non original armor is going to hurt your value. But, they dont grow on trees! Values? A fairly complete non running project can cost 25 to 30 K dollars depending on whats included. Top end for a exceptional example I would estimate at 65 to 75k dollars. Location matters too.

its relatively complete, running and drivable. every thing from roller to rear of doors is original. including drive train. so hoping that will help. can't wait to get it here so I can get pictures of it .

Being in Mass might make it easier to sell there are far more buyers in the Eastern US compared to the West. That's been my experience anyway.

Re: m3a1 scout car for sale
There might be more interest if you post a price as you are suppose to if not listing in the auction forum. More pictures and a price get more people interested. With a price listed you will either get no replies because you are too high, or you will get several replies if you are in the right price range. There are buyers, believe me I know, they just don't know where you are on your price. Pictures will also give a buyer the idea of just what may be needed to do a complete restoration or a basic for local shows and parades.

Re: m3a1 scout car for sale
from what little info ive found so far im thinking the price should be around $25000.00 - $30000.00. I am having it delivered next week so plan to have a lot more pictures then. it was restored about 10 years ago and been in a garage ever since. so It doesn't need very much to get it going again. I do know it needs a master cylinder for the brakes and the fuel tank needs either a good cleaning or replacement. think im way off ?

Re: m3a1 scout car for sale
I think your 25K price would be in the right range for one without a skate rail, finding a skate rail will be one issue, non original armor will put you in the area of someone wanting one for parades and local events. Sitting around is not a friend of these soldiers, so the less needing done will help sell it faster. More than likely your brake problem will be the booster, just from past experience. If it has all 8 seats will help the sale also. It looks nice from the one picture you posted, having the top is a big plus. Look forward to seeing more of her.

Re: m3a1 scout car for sale
There is a definite market for Scout Cars. They aren't common. They are Armor. And they are about the most useable armor you can own.
I love mine and for a WW2 piece of armor, its fast...

Looks like you have a Lot 2 from what I can make out on the data plate.

Early carburetor and generator falls into that era, so kinda proves that for sure. Looks like it may have been used for hauling people in a parade or something like that. Rear wheel well storage boxes look to be solid with no lids and they look to run all the way along the side, originals only covered the wheel wells. A lot of stuff in the way to see the rear inside bed to tell much else. The one picture of a front seat looks to be a halftrack seat. Not saying this to down your scout, just some things someone else might point out when you get down to selling it. I like it and see a lot of potential, what I mentioned would not be a deterrent for me. Need a picture of the back of the scout to see if the bumper is there and maybe the interior without all the items in the way.
