Well not exactly. The bracket is back for sale. The man who bought light and bracket said it is not the same as what he has on his halftrack. If true for all halftracks does anyone know where these were used? It is stout enough to be able to hold something heavier than a G.I. flashlight, although it fits those. It could carry a long Maglite or maybe a Ground Signal Projector. $42 free shipping.

Hi John

What is the diameter of the flashlight clips? I need one to fit the TL-122A flashlight which is a smaller diameter than the TL-122B.

One is 1 3/8 inch on the inside and the other is almost 1 1/2 inch. My guess is they aren't hardened spring steel and would take a set if pulled apart or squeezed together far enough. Meaning one could change those dimensions if one wanted to. That could be why they are different. I haven't put a file to it to see if hardened. Hardened steel will take a set too, just takes more deflection to get it to yield.

FYI the distance between centerlines of the clips is 3 1/4"

There is a part nmber stamped into the front of the base - B-246814.
