Ahh yes...the venerable lend lease scout cars. I see we have a new Russian friend posting in the armor, section also. Wonder how many are still available there and parts, too.

What a great image and nice camo pattern. It's another image showing the added gun pulpit. Is there anyway you can post or send me a close up of the markings on the driver door and the shoulder patch of the soldier. Awesome post.

Not seeing skate rail with this pulpit scout car, you can see almost all his body and no rail blocking it. Would be nice to have an inside shot of these.

rcassin,
Look at the pictures above the ones you posted, the only bar showing goes almost straight across and stops above the rear slope armor. What ever it is he is behind it in the picture and not seeing anything coming from the rear armor where the skate rail should be coming forward above the door, no head knocker I see. Nothing on the other side looking under the pulpit.

If there is no rail it would give those with no original rail an option for a proper field modified restoration of an ETO M3A1. That would be an acceptable option.

Yes. It would. And if you are missing a roller, there are plenty of WWII pics with it MIA.

Rob, thanks for sending this pic. They definitely removed the skate rail.
