I did Deveate from the M2 a little by install the half-track headlights but it's what I like about them, also updated to fuel carriers that was an update Nov. 11 1942 service bulletin, so I'm sorry to the puriest .

Well the hardest thing to do is pick a color that looks time period and slightly faded in field use and not the cookie color new out of box look. So went to cci and bought both, painted one wheel one color and on wheel the other, side by side comparison and it was an easy choice then, do hope this helps some one else, I have wrestled with this for months, so went the expensive route and bought both.

When the standard OD fades or as we say in the paint business chalks it looks the same but fresh from booth it looks like it just came from factory not off the front.
