If you are still looking for the correct 80mph armor speedo (due to possible litigation this name is blocked) had a few in stock about a year ago.

I haven't been keeping the original crossover chart updated since 1/7/13 and won't be doing it because I sold my M20 and am focused on something else. Anybody want to update it? I have the editable chart if you want it. It's a Word chart.

Back then I edited it, scanned to a JPG, then uploaded to an image sharing website for linking to from here. Better way is if you can save the Word doc as an image file to eliminate the scanning. Or maybe there is an image hosting site that accepts Word or PDF docs.

I found a PDF to image file converter and put it on my photo sharing site. Here is the most current chart. I can't edit the first post on the thread for some reason.

Hi all,

As per John’s post, I’ve picked up the maintenance of the parts crossover list (for the moment!). I’ve used John’s Word document and transferred the details into an Excel spreadsheet, just because I find it easier to enter/edit. I am playing around with the image so it may not look right first time, but I will get there.

I’ve gone through the list of comments in this thread and added the details into this new sheet. Can you check it out please and see if I have missed anything.

As John said, there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit the first post so I guess we’ll just have to post the latest update in the thread as suggestions come in.

If you have any ideas about the format of the sheet, let me know please.

There is no need for a modern equivalent for the clutch slave cylinder. There are many French made NOS examples available in the US still sealed in their boxes. There is also great supply of Ford contracted seals available from WWII still in excellent condition. If you have trouble finding them, just ask me.

I just replaced the transmission output seal with a Chicago Rawhide part number 21172. The size is 3 inch OD X 2.125 ID (2 and 1/8) X 1/2 inch width. There are options available from other suppliers with widths from 3/8 to 1/5 inch in width - all will work as the width is not a critical dimension. I would suspect the input seal on the transfer case would be the same seal.

Thanks Steve. I have updated the list with that seal.

I've also listed an NGK spark plug equivalent. The Champion J10 aren't easily available here and the Champion W14 has the wrong diameter base.

The engine shop that rebuilt my engine used a modern National Seal 45637S that came in a Timken box for the engine rear main oil seal - fly wheel side. Dimensions listed on box as: 4.687 x 6.002 x .250
