That's really cool Ron, that must be the correct ord# so now you can make the correct data plate for it. I'm bad with numbers and that was before brain surgery. :)

Hi Clint, I looked at it for several months and did not notice it either, the top of the eight is very lightly imprinted on the frame, did not check it out until I discovered the numbers on the roller. Cleaner and a good wire wheel brush brought it out. The second number sure looks to be the ORD#, at least it fits in the numbers around it and I could not figure any other number that would be with the serial #. I was just wondering if anyone else found their numbers there. Will let this get knocked around a little before I use it on a data tag. Scout Car looks a lot different now than the pictures of it on page 13. Should finish painting the frame and cab tomorrow if nothing interferes with my plans

Do you think the Hood Number is valid for Production Order T-3160, No. 6007494 or less, if Production Order T-3146 starts at No. 6007495? Production Order T-3160 completed in June 1942, Production Order T-3146 began in August 1942

What a shame this database can no longer be updated. Does anyone know of another database that is up to date?

My Scout (frame number 266443) was missing it's data plate.
Is there any way to find out what was the original ORD number for my frame number?

Rgds,
Martin
