Re: M20 Hercules JXD engine parts
it;s a flaw design in the oil housing, I have over come this by installing a folded paper gasket around the concave 'metal washer' in the base to stop it draining back down

Re: M20 Hercules JXD engine parts
Sorry I do not, but all I did was to get some paper gasket (reasonable thickness to allow for it to be folded along the length by 90 degrees), cut a long strip, folded it along the whole lenght nby 90 degrees, placed it on the bottom edge of the metal disc to squash it against the outer case pressed rolled lip, cut it down so it does not 'double up' at the 'join'.Slid it down into place with a piece of plastic sheet to get it past the oil inlet at the top of the case.
