Hi,
I am looking for a shovel handle "D" bracket that is steel and can be welded on to a vehicle.
Any leads appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: SHOVEL HANDLE D BRACKET
The bracket that Dave Yamulla has is the bolt on version used on the halftracks.
I wound up making both of the weld-on brackets for the shovel (D-loop for the handle and loop for the spade).
I really thought I was going to run into more problems making them so I made extras in case I messed up; they were pretty easy so now I have more brackets then I will ever use...

How similar is that shovel mount compared to the one on the fender of an M5 Stuart? If similar, I could use one. Thanks!

I measured one off a real Sherman Tank at a Museum and made my own. It is identical, all the same thicknesses and weldable.
