Iwas thinking...why none talks about the Mercedes-Benz,or Steyr-Daimler-Puch GELANDEWAGEN ???

There are very few in the US, so not much to discuss here at least. The U.S. Marines have used them for their IFAV, but thats about it.

I had a chance to look at the French version with a Peugeot 4 cylinder engine at the Belleview Florida show a couple of weeks ago. The owner, Pierre Izarie, was asking $12K for the vehicle. Impressive vehicle. Wish his was a diesel.

That is a very fair price, and below what the G230 is going for at this time in Europe.
