I’m located in Europe, and it’s a script MB early 42’
The original door was missing but I have found one that fits, the hole where the lock goes into the dash, is a small long rectangular hole, the normal push button doesn’t fit in here, and sits to low, would it help if I would post a few pics?
Thanks for all the help
Best regards
Pascal

What i did was buy a 1936 gmc glove box lock, then i had to find a correct bolt for the lock which is not easy. You could duplicate one if know a good machinist. keep in mind the key will be slightly different. be prepared to spend the kids college money on. Or just change to later door and lock.
