WTB: GPW tub

Post by David Hughes » Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:04 pm

My search continues for a usable Ford tub.
Now is the time to empty your stash*. Help keep me occupied during my retirement.

*This is only a suggestion.

There was an early Ford tub and fenders posted on the Seattle Craigslist antique section. The guy was asking $350. for it. It was in good condition. I sent an inquiry. Did not hear boo. The add has been pulled. It either sold or someone told him how much it was worth.
The search continues.

Thank you. This is the first I've seen of him. He must get some sort of thrill from it.

Usable translates to restorable/salvageable.

I have a 43 GPW tub.... it's rough. Salvageable is in the eye of the beholder, hate to junk it. I'm in Northern MA. PM me if you want pictures.
