starter parts

Post by JAB » Mon Sep 13, 2021 2:31 pm

My running but rusty starter would work great after I removed the rust and had a new Bendix spring (the small one on the end, missing in the picture, not the big heavy one), copper teminal bolt with good threads, and a "pinion" housing with both ears. Anybody got a burnt up or worn out starter with these parts in usable condition at a reasonable price? I think a starter would fit in a Flat-Rate box all wrapped up in newspaper or cardboard to keep it from shifting and breaking out.

Thanx!!!
