WTB: 6v Generator for GPW

Post by twinflyer17 » Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:54 pm

Looking for a working 6v generator. I have a spare, replacement GPW engine that I'm finally getting ready to install in my GPW and would prefer to change my system back to its original 6v configuration when making the swap. I don't need a pretty looking generator, as I can cleanup, re-paint, and re-tag, just looking for one that does currently work for a reasonable price, including shipping to 21001.

Thanks!
Sean

I have a few rebuilt generators that are ready to bolt up.

I’ll send you a pm tomorrow with what I have.

Are you looking for a GPW tagged unit? or one of the autolite ones that were used on gpw's, which model?

No model preference. Just a WWII one in working order, even if requiring a fresh paint and tag job 8)
