WTB: NOS Type II Radio Supression Filters

Post by Michael O. » Thu Feb 07, 2019 6:02 pm

I'm looking for any and all of the capacitors for the type II suppression system. If anyone has any spares, please let me know with your asking price. I'm also interested in purchasing duplicates of each. I do own a couple sets of Paolo’s outstanding reproductions however I am interested in original units for my referrence collection.

A few specific ones I’m seeking are:

GPW 18938-B/WO-A-8010 .25 MFD 1 of 2 that mounts to the voltage regulator
GPW 18841/WO-A-7849 .5 MFD mounts on starter switch
GPW 18937/WO-A-8884 0.01 MFD mounts to ignition switch
GPW 18935-B/WO-A-7848 0.1 MFD., mounts on ignition coil stud

Thanks in advance!

He has the generator condensers that he has been selling on eBay. I remember the good old days when he charged me $35 for an NOS box of 3. I’m glad I bought a few then.

Still looking for the above listed condensers.

I asked him if I could buy one off him and he offered me a box of 3 for £250.
I am afraid if I held out for a full set of old ones for my Jeep, which is type 1, I will never get a full set so I am going to get a set of Pualo.
I thought I had one but I cleaned it up yesterday and it said Lucas on it, so that went in the bin

Wait until he puts them on ebay, which he does. In the recent past, I`ve seen them go for alot better price than what you quoted above.

Are the Condensers on the WWII 3/4 Ton WC Coils the same as what you are looking for?

No, Cornell Dublier does not appear to be a supplier of condensers to Ford or Willys Overland for the g503.

What are the details of the 3/4 Ton WC ignition coil condenser?

You may already have one in the stuff I sent a while back, it went to the coil. It is from the 1968 dated NOS T-214's I have.

All of the confirmed MB filters I have seen have been marked Sprague and have the name, voltage and MFD listed on them.

Some also have some kind of part number on them but I don't have enough of them to understand what it means.

The only other manufacturer I have seen is Mallory.
