1988 Jeep Comanche (MJ) pioneer for trade. It has the 4.0 and an AX-15 5 speed, truck came from Texas, it’s solid. Began fixing the floorboards and kinda lost interest. Would be a great restoration project. Runs and drives. Can send pictures if interested. Located in ohio

I had that same Jeep. The transmission is sketchy at best but the truck was amazing. 329,000 miles when I sold it and the new owner (A guy I worked with) drove it for 10 more years and the crankshaft finally snapped the nose off.

ETA: mine had the BA10 Peugeot 5 speed. Horrible transmission! The Aisin Warner was the best of all of them.

I also had the BA/10. I scored a ax-15 for 250, I had to reclock the mount holes for the transfer case but wow what a world of difference it made
