WTB - GPW exhaust manifold

Post by Bart1015 » Sat Dec 03, 2022 9:11 am

Hello all,

I am looking for a late GPW exhaust manifold. Looking for one that is not cracked or with any welded repairs. A frozen heat riser is ok.

Its going on a June 1945 GPW.

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett
I have an extra one, unfortunately it’s still packed away from our move to our new house. How soon do you need it? I could probably get it and bring it to the spring meet.

Mike,

I am not in a rush at all. I still have a lot to do on my 45 before it will be ready for the road.

Let me know if you if you find it.

Merry Christmas,

Brett

Hi Brett
I’ll bring it to the spring meet. I’ll send pictures of it when I get it unpacked.

Sounds great Mike. I also need to know how much you would like to get for it.

Hi Brett
Bad news. The rear exhaust pipe bolt hole is broken. It’s kinda pitted too😖
Sorry for getting your hopes up 😥

Bummer, do you have the broken part? Wonder if it could be fixed? Pitting might be ok.

Hi Brett,
Yes, I have it. It can probably be fixed. I'll bring it to Plymouth and you can check it out.
