ISO: Grease Gun

Post by OldJeepBob » Tue Jan 18, 2022 2:34 pm

I am assembling a '45 MB, and found that the grease gun I have had for several years is incorrect. I need either a Alemite 6593 or Lincoln 1078. Love to hear from anyone who can help. Thanks,

Lincoln is for the GPW's, you want an Alemite.

They are on eBay. The guy has them listed twice for $100 and $150 using the same picture in both listings. I would reach out to him and understand the difference in condition and price. They show up for less sometimes, it just depends how long you want to wait.

The NOS original I have is painted so If you paint one of these then the $100 version might be what you want.

An added note is that if you leave the tube and fitting on then it rubs against the horn so if it is just for display then all you need is the gun.

Cheers,
Peter
