I recently purchased a mule (A2). It has a repetitive rubbing type sound that disappears when I drag the brakes. Could the drum be warped? I pulled the drum and the shoes look great. Thanks for any help.

Airborne,
Could be, but probably the return spring or adjustment out on the shoes.
You said its an A2, that being so it should have 2 seperate shoes as opposed to the single wierd looking shoe.
Check adjustment of the shoes first.
I cannot imagine the drum getting hot enough to warp, but I guess anything is possible.
