Greetings fellow mule enthusiasts.
Anything other than a TOW or 106mm RR doesn’t belong on a mule, prove me wrong.
I’d like to get a conversation going as to why so many mule owners insist on attaching armament to their mules that doesn’t belong. I suppose it’s no different than all the “Rat Patrol” affectionados and their jeeps!
I don’t think that I’ve ever come across any pictures of mules being used as weapons platforms in service, aside from the first two I mentioned.
Weapons mount, Please make it stop.

Interesting post, My time in the Corps in the eighties, only thing that was mounted on the Mules were TOW's which were operated by the weapons companies. The rifle company that I was with Mules would follow stacked high with C-rats then later MRE boxes. (seemed like 4 feet high?) Never got to ride them unless you were wounded, sick or dead. always amazed of how they could climb the steep hills of Pendleton.
I see people mount M-60 on them , maybe Vietnam? how about a BAR or air cooled 30?? LOL to each his own.
