I researched a book on the development and use of the M274 Mule and related platform trucks like the Super Mule, wrote the first draft, lined up a publisher and then....COVID struck.
I am starting to get back into doing final edits but need some good quality original photos of later Mules mounting the 106 recoilless and TOW missile launcher for the chapter on "Mule Accessories". I will need a photo release or they need to be open source to use them in the book, but will gladly credit the photographer. Might also have a few questions about details of each weapons system.
Any manuals or clear photos showing the Mule fording kit, litter rack kit, two cylinder engine retrofit kits or the very rare Mule trailer would also be greatly appreciated as I have few details on those.
Finally, I have seen photographic evidence of the existence of a surviving Jungle Burden Carrier. If somebody on this page knows the owner of the JBC please pass that information along.
PM me if you are willing to help out and preserve Mechanical Mule history.

I did a complete restoration of an original 1958 USMC M274 Willys Mule
From this:
To this in about 6 months of on and off work. Everything completely disassembled, rebuilt, primed and painted.

Thanks for posting photo in responses to my request. Will take that as permission to use photo for my diabolical purposes unless you object.
