Are you talking about the tool to hold the spark plug while removing the plug wire?
It's very easy to make out of an old deep-well socket.

I took a cheap thin-wall 7/8" deep well 6-point socket, cut the end off and cut the slot with a cut-off wheel in a 4-1/2" grinder, and welded a handle to it. Easy.

Another option, if the spark plug turned when you tried to loosen the wire from the spark plug you can remove the other end of the spark plug from the magneto and remove the spark plug and wire as 1 unit. Then you can disconnect the wire from the spark plug. That works! Also, that tool and some other tools was discussed in an article in military vehicles magazine a while ago. Issue 128

Re: Stuck Spark Plug Tool WTB
I made one of those spark plug wrenches,
First, I bought some deep wells sockets (Northern Tool) and I removed the shoulder on a drill press testing with an old spark plug.
Then I welded the handle to it and cut out the slot with a die grinder. Work great. I always wear a face shield when using the die grinder with a cutoff wheel.
With the handle welded to the socket, I chucked the socket in the vise and slowly cut out the slot and tested it on the Mule engine for fit.

By removing the shoulder on a drill press, I mean the inside shoulder in the socket to make it fit the spark plug. I tested the fit with an old spark plug on the bench.
I cut out the slot and tested the fit on the Mule engine on the work bench also.

Here's an old photo of some of the special tools that I use on the mule. I have several more that didn't make it into the photo. Would there be any interest in an article on my specialized mule tools?
