Mule Project M274A5

Post by mule270 » Sat May 22, 2021 11:28 am

Built 7/68. Baifield Ind. - Entex Div. Registration 235430. Serial 11136.
This is a project that needs to be completed. Most of the parts we put on this were from John Emery & Charles Witt. 90% of the original parts have been glass beaded and painted.
Many pins, bushings and hardware has been replaced if it was needed. The transaxle has been disassembled and resealed. The drop axles/axles have been disassembled and new needle bearings, axle bearings, two used drop gears resealed and installed. The tires were dismounted, rims glass beaded and painted. New tubes inserted. Tires are very good used condition. The steering wheel was restored.
Parts included with this project: Air cleaner assy (restored), muffler (restored), round deck cover (blasted and primed with hardware), engine (not installed) - seems complete but no fan shroud. The engine is an original mule engine - it has compression and turns freely. Seat cushions (restored), governor cover (used), carburetor (new), Clutch and pressure plate (used) and one new disc. Oil filter (new), manual starter (used), air cleaner tube (used), reusable air filter (used), fuel filter (new), engine belt (used), spark plugs (2 new), intake tube clamp (2 new), intake tube (used), foot basket (used) - pedal assy is there but we do not have cables - 90% of basket is there, engine guard, rear (used), tool bag (nos), right and left rails (restored), data plate sticker- reproduced plus original plate goes with, manuals (5 various), Gear lube (2 new), deck stickers - see pics of deck.
Parts you may need to finish project: Tow bar (brackets come with), throttle cable, fuel line (feed - missing half), starter, engine cover deck plate, rear and front rails, front grab handle. I'm sure a few things are missing from this list but this is just to give you an idea of what you'll need.
PM with any questions. Must pick up in McDonough, GA, near Atlanta Motor Speedway. Cash only. If you'd like additional photos, please message with your email and we'd be happy to send them. Asking $8,000. Thanks!

Nice, Nice but if you still have it does the support tubes not need to be rotated 90 degrees to the right for water drain holes to be in position? I’ve had one but can’t remember how they were positioned but wouldn’t you want them to be on the bottom? Not being a smart a.. but rather just a question.....Zuke

Hey Zuke. Thanks for the compliment. That hole you're seeing isn't a drain hole. It's the hole the spring loaded clip goes in to hold the foot basket. Have a great night!
