Great show great turn out. 3 - 4 cylinder mules. At least 2-3 2 cylinder mules were on the ground. Thanks to all that brought out mules and the rest of the guys that brought out vehicles along with the guys that made many trips to bring multiple vehicles.

Best score of the show, an original round deck cover plate....
On that note, this is a later style plate. If anyone has an earlier M274 plate I am looking to trade.

Re: Findlay, Ohio MV meet
We have heard that there is a problem with mule deck covers walking away while the mule is on display. So we leave ours at home.
Anyone else heard of this happening?

Re: Findlay, Ohio MV meet
I noticed at the show that at least one of the mules on display had all covers removed. A sad time when others resort to theft to fulfill their needs.
The second mule parked beside it had the heavy rubber matting installed, which I think is a great idea to help with security...
In the past, I always found creative ways to ensure kit and other easily pocketed items stayed with the vehicle I was displaying. Zip ties, mechanics wire, padlocks can make all the difference to slow thieves up and make targets difficult.
BTW, I acquired my cover fair, square and honestly.

Re: Findlay, Ohio MV meet
I was there and chatted with you guys about the difference in power of the 4 cyl and 2 cyl mules.
I saw the covers missing and knew right away why. The early covers are hard to find and would be impossible to replace. Yes it is sad that certain folks have no qualms about taking something.

Re: Findlay, Ohio MV meet
Oh, forgot one of the funny things I saw at the show. The first day, Friday I was there early.
Side note: (The guy collecting money at the gate said park where ever you want in the grass, the, I will call him the grumpy Lieutenant, came by on a golf cart and pointed me to park out in the middle of no where! I must have made some face cause he relented and said go part near the camping folks closer to the show.)
Back to the funny, who ever brought the weasel jumped in early on Friday and tore off at high speed across the show to the front. This got the two ladies organizing the show pissed and they tore off in hot pursuit in a golf cart waving their arms and yelling at the top of their lungs.
I just wondered if the Lieutenant put the weasel driver on report.

It was a great show. The rain came mostly at night. Sold a lot but didn't get rid of my .50. The people running the show was great and always ready to help if needed.
