Mule storage in warehouse

I have a warehouse with pallet racking, forklift, ect. I am looking for a way to make a "pallet" that I can drive my M274A5 on, strap down, and then forklift up onto pallet racking. The racking and the forklift can easily handle the weight. Any one have any ideas or done this before? Or do I just need to break out the circular saw and build one out of 4x4s and some 3/4 plywood?

Thanks!

Given that the basic Mule is approx 4ft x 8ft less the foot basket, why don't you just look around for a skid of the appropriate size? They do make pallets in this size or, like you mentioned, build a custom one. For that matter, just scab together two standard hardwood pallets with extra lumber :)

I plan on the skid. Just seeing if anyone else has done this before me.

I modified a pallet to load a Mule being sent to Boise, ID. I had a 6' pallet and added 8' 2 x 4s to the sides and used a 4' x 8' 3/4" plywood for the floor. The pallet was accessible from one end and the sides being only 6' long.

Side View my Kubota L4400 was just able to pick up the mule and pallet for loading into the back of a enclosed trailer.
