Where can you get the magneto cap screws?
I know I can check with John Emery, but is there a source for these screws from McMaster Carr or another company that is accurate?

TM shows the four machine screws as #10S12NE, part of the service kit for the magneto. I don't have one I can measure, but I think they are standard machine screws that should be available from MCmaster-Carr or Fastenal. You might have to go with a Phillips head instead of a flat head. There should be a sealing washer under each screw head and, again, they are available from McMaster-Carr, look for oil resistant rubber sealing washers.
If I get a chance later today, I'll go to the shop and see if I can find one to measure for you.

Oops, I goofed, I wanted to know what screws are used to hold the insulation block onto the metal magneto cap. (There are 3 of them) and they look like #8-32 screws with internal lock washers.

I think I have an old gen-set mag cap, should use the same screws, I'll look in a few minutes.

The internals on the gen-set mag are different, but the three screws may be the same. They are #8-32 x 1/2" with the internal lock washer. Seems like I remember the mule magneto machine screws being longer than 1/2"???
McMaster-Carr has what they call High-Profile Narrow Fillister Head Slotted Screws in the #8-32 size that look exactly the same, you'd just need to add the internal-tooth lock washers.
